Melbourne, Victoria. – Grasshopper Soccer, the engaging children’s soccer program best known for its focus on child development using soccer as a tool is very excited to welcome our latest franchisee to join our team. Meet Tino Chinogurei from Grasshopper Soccer Berwick.
Grasshopper Soccer Headquarters would like to take this opportunity to introduce our newest franchisee, Tino Chinogurei, hailing from Melbourne. Originally from Zimbabwe, Tino developed a deep passion for soccer during his childhood and truly fell in love with the sport when his family relocated to the United Kingdom when he was a young child. As a devoted football aficionado, Tino became an avid supporter of Arsenal and his life was forever changed when he witnessed the mesmerizing skills of Thiery Henry and Dennis Bergkamp at Highbury. His first experience at a live match was the thrilling 6-1 victory over Leicester City on boxing day in 2000.
Meet Tino from Grasshopper Soccer Berwick
Tino, who works as an Architect, spends a significant amount of time behind a desk and in front of computer screens throughout the day. Joining our local soccer league made him realize just how much he missed playing the sport. One day, while practicing at home with his 4-year-old daughter, he discovered her immense enjoyment and realized that soccer was ingrained in their blood. After researching various coaching clinics, Tino and his daughter were captivated by the offerings of Grasshopper Soccer. It was at this moment that he knew there was a need for a Grasshopper Soccer location in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne!
With this conviction in mind, Tino reached out to Grasshopper Soccer and immediately felt a strong connection. And so, the remarkable journey began! Tino cannot contain his excitement for being a part of our esteemed team and reaping the benefits of pursuing his passion and enjoying what he truly loves!
Aimed at positively impacting children’s lives, Grasshopper Soccer strives to be the best part of a child’s week through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum. Serving children ages two through twelve, the program features professional coaches in the community, an exceptional customer experience including ongoing communication and an expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
The weekly programs, customized for five different age groups, teach children soccer fundamentals and character-building skills. Grasshopper Soccer hosts private sessions through local schools and childcare centres as well as public programs, which are typically hosted through council parks.
