Meet Simone & Connor from Grasshopper Soccer Fraser Coast
Gympie, Queensland, Australia. – Grasshopper Soccer, the engaging children’s soccer program best known for its focus on child development using soccer as a tool, announced today Simone Gruendler and Connor Wyatt from Fraser Coast has joined the franchise team.
Simone and Connor became Grasshopper Soccer franchisees in March this year and since training and induction was completed, have commenced operations throughout the Fraser Coast of Queensland. Simone said “It has been an amazing start to our business, and it brings so much joy of being part of the community and meeting so many new friends. The children have loved the programs and we can’t wait to keep expanding into new areas of the Fraser Coast.”
Connor said “When Simone and I came across Grasshopper Soccer it was exactly what we were looking for. In our community no program like this existed for the young children and our son has also joined in on the programs and loves being part of the programs. We are really excited by the uptake”.

Simone said “I have always wanted to run my own business as Connor has his own shed business as well. I wasn’t sure how it would go and if all the systems and support was available however I have been blown away. The support from Head Office has been amazing!”

Aimed at positively impacting children’s lives, Grasshopper Soccer strives to be the best part of a child’s week through best-in-class coaching, communication, and curriculum. Serving children ages two through twelve, the program features professional coaches in the community, an exceptional customer experience including ongoing communication and an expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
The weekly programs, customized for five different age groups, teach children soccer fundamentals and character-building skills. Grasshopper Soccer hosts private sessions through local schools and childcare centers as well as public programs, which are typically hosted through council parks.
