Kids Soccer Illawarra – Meet Rob & Damian 

Illawarra, NSW, Australia. – Grasshopper Soccer, the engaging children’s soccer program best known for its focus on child development using soccer as a tool, announced today Rob Young and Damian Vincent from the Illawarra region of NSW has joined the franchise team.

Rob and Damian have been playing and coaching football for the last 35 years. They both have young children who attended Grasshopper Soccer sessions when they were younger. After seeing the noticeable difference in the Grasshopper Soccer programs to others out there, Rob and Damian knew thay had to be involved.

Damian said “Rob and I were both born and raised in Wollongong, where we still live with our young families. We are really looking forward to bringing Grasshopper Soccer back to the region and having as many children experience the Grasshopper Soccer difference”.

Rob said “I have been a lifelong soccer/football fan, playing since the age of 5 and now watching my kids fall in love with the game. Damian and I are very excited to start this journey with Damian and promote participation and fun for soccer at a grass roots level.”
